On October 2nd, 2012, Google updated their Webmaster Guidelines pertaining to what they call ‘Link Schemes’ and I thought I’d share this clip that I took from an internal video I made for our employees.

Really, not all that much has changed, and despite all the Penguin talk, I really don’t think these written guidelines spell it out clearly enough, and the guidelines DO NOT say to me that “they mean business” – at least not yet.
