It does appear to me that our message warning that it's "not a valid URL" is gone, and instead it's showing errors.

-  But  -

Are you getting errors when you test a a working URL (not one that redirects elsewhere) ?

If so, can you please give me an example of a URL that causes these errors you're seeing?

A little more testing has shown that this "bug" is only affecting redirects that point into a subdirectory.

So, I believe the "answer" is for us to clarify the message, so instead of seeing a stupid .php error (sorry), you would see a message that says "Please ensure that you enter a valid URL, and not one that is being redirected at the server."

If I'm mistaken, and there's a valid URL which is causing you this grief, please do share it here or send to me privately…
