WP Core Tweaks Plugin Updated

February 14, 2009

A new version was released, and here’s what’s changed -

Corrected the “cheatin’ huh?” message that some were getting, to since this requires a fresh WordPress install.
Added ability to change blog description/tagline.
Added attempt to create uploads folder and set permission to 777. (Depends on what your host allows.)

This past Friday night, the beta label came off, the pricing went in place, and all of the beta users were sent emails with their passwords, and given some free credits. (Re-send your password)

With little fanfare and barely a Tweet, I’ve quietly made this plugin available for public consumption. While it doesn’t offer much for the existing blog owner, I think anyone that tries it on a new installation will have their socks knocked clean off…

Updates to Wordpress 2.7 – This Plugin is Next

The back end of SEO Automatic has always been a stand alone application, but towards the end of the summer I began to get an itch to put it inside of WordPress.

Until Tuesday of this week, that wasn’t possible, but thanks to an amazing programmer, it’s up and running 100% smoothly.

Funny looking results, but SEO info is good
